Post- Research Officer [ 01 Post ]

Qualification: Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences/Environmental Economics/Agriculture Science/ Forestry consistently good academic record or MSc in Environmental Sciences/ Economics (Environmental Economics) with three years experience in conducting the research on the issues related to climate change, livelihood sustainability, agrobiodiversity/ecosystem management/resource dynamics and valuation Of ecosystem services 

Desirable:  a. UGC-CSIR NET qualified candidate will be given b. Understanding agroecosystems structure and functioning, ecological resource flow and resource dynamics, socio-ecology, dynamics Of land use land cover change c. Proficiency in data analysis (Primary and Secondary) and statistical applications d. Should have the good field knowledge e. Good command on English and any one or more Indian  languages (written and spoken);

Tenure: These positions are purely temporary. The appointment Will be on contract basis for a period Of six months initially and extendable on satisfactory performance. Good knowledge of Computers and Programming is a requirement for both the research Positions.
