The Seprod Group continues to be a leader in manufacturing and distributionof consumer products and well-known brands both locally and internationally. We are now seeking a suitably qualified and experienced resource person to function in our Human Resource Division as:

Training and Development Manager

The Role:

The incumbent will identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build the talent capacity of our teams, and oversee the implementation and assessment of training and development outcomes.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Dreawing on overall or individualized training and development plans, identify and assess future and current training needs
• Align training and development with relevant job analysis and annual performance appraisals in consultation with HR team and Line Managers
• Develop an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
• Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
• Monitor and evalute trainingprogram's effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
• Manage training budget
• Provide opportunities for ongoing staff development
• Resolve any specific problem and tailor training programs as necessary
• Develop relevant training curriculum to respond to businessrequirements
• Maintain a keen understanding of training trneds, new developments and best practices

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Development
• At least three (3) years experience in a similar capacity, with emphasis on aligning training metrics towards achieving corporate strategy
• Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
• Familiarity with modern training methods including mentoring, coaching, on-the-job training, e-learning, workshops and simulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to plan, multitask and manage time effectively
• Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
