We are the largest retailer in the region, offering many opportunities for growth and development and are looking for a talented and dedicated individual to fill the position of:

Merchandising Officer

The ideal candidate will have responsibility for:

• Creatingthe ultimate customer experienc using effective merchandising and signage according to brand rules so as to optimize sales and revenue
• Supervising the merchandising display function in the branches in accordance with the stock allocation schedule and procedures
• Ensuring Unicomer (Courts) branding policies and procedures are implemented
• Monitoring branches to ensure that all tags (price, Bureau of Standards, Warranty, etc) are generated and placed on all products in the prescribed manner
• Supervise the merchandising display used for branch marketing activities
• Developing relationships with housing developers for model home setup
• Ensuring that al signage, POS and promotional material are fresh and current
• Keeping abreast of purchasing trends and strategize layouts accordingly
• Collaborating with the Commercial team to ensure that the Key Performance Indicators and objectives are achieved

Qualifications and Key Competencies include:

• Degree/diploma in Visual Merchandising/Fine Arts or related field
• Minimum of four (4) years experience in visual merchandising and space planning
• Knowledge of basic interior design, fashion styles and trends
• Good computer and office software skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
