Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSSB)

Hamirpur

Post: Food Safety Officer (on contract basis) 

Pay scale: Rs. 5910-20200+3000 GP

Seats: Gen.(UR)-07,Gen.(BPL)-02,SC(UR)-02,OBC(UR)-03, OBC(BPL)-01,ST (UR)-01, Gen.(W. Ex-Serviceman)-02, SC (W. Ex-Serviceman)-01

Qualification:
i) A Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degrees in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from recognized University; or

ii) Any other equivalent/recognized qualification notified by the Central Government; and

iii) Has successfully completed training as specified by the Food Authority in a recognized institute or institution approved for the purpose. Provided that no person who has any financial interest in the manufacture, import or sale of any article of food shall be appointed to be a Food Safety Officer under this rule 

Selection Process:

• Written Objective Type Screening Test
• Skill tests / Physical standard and efficiency test etc.

Examination Fee: Candidates can pay the requisite Exam fee. The Fee pay through Online Payment Gateway or Offline computer generated Challan or Lokmitra Kendra.

• For General Category – ₹ 360/-
• For General IRDP, Physically Handicapped, Ward of Freedom Fighter, Ward of Ex-Servicemen of HP. – ₹ 120/-
• For SC / ST / OBC  candidates of H.P. state – ₹ 120/-
• For Ex-Servicemen of H.P. / Blind of H.P. / Visually Impaired of H.P. – Nil

How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply online through HPSSSB Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal www.hpsssb.hp.gov.in. The online application can be filled up from 05/07/2018 to 04/08/2018 till 11.59 PM.
