About the opportunity

Who will I be working for?

You will be working for one of the largest International law firms in the Cayman Islands. Who are acknowledged in the industry as being the market leader within funds, finance and corporate services.

Who will be working with me?

In this position, you will be working within a supportive environment and liaising on a daily basis with lawyers and clients.  You will sit within a team of secretaries and have exposure to different departments within the firm.

How will I make a difference?

In this role, you will be responsible for general secretarial duties making a difference to the department by completing audio transcription; drafting legal documents; organizing and coordinating meetings/travel arrangements; taking, typing and distributing minutes of meetings; as well as generally liaising with clients and lawyers.

What do I need?

To be considered for this position you will ideally have five years prior secretarial experience in a professional services environment however previous experience in a legal environment would be a benefit. You must also have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and a typing speed of at least 55wpm.

This post requires a high level of attention to detail, professionalism, excellent oral and written communications skills and strong organizational skills. The successful candidate must be able to use his/her own initiative and work well under pressure to meet deadlines, and also to work overtime at short notice and occasionally at weekends if needed.
