Duties
Assists Technicians and performs minor routine repairs, maintenance and installations of police equipment and systems to a diverse fleet of vehicles.Work environment

The intent of this process is to fill an indeterminate GL-MAN-05/SPS-05 vacancy in Newmarket, Ontario. A pool may be established from this selection process and may be used to fill the same or similar positions at the GL-MAN-05/SPS-05 group and level in Newmarket, Ontario on an indeterminate or term basis.Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Experience repairing or maintaining a motor vehicle in an accredited repair facility or school.

(A driver’s abstract with no more than 2 minor violations in the last 12 months
