The HEART TRUST/NTA, a statutory organisation mandated to co-ordinate and facilitate the training and assessment of the Jamaican workforce to international standards, invites applications for the following positions:

Regional Project Coordinator - YEDAI

The Job:

Co-ordinating all activities of the Youth Employment in the Digital Animation Industry (YEDAI) project within the specified region, ensuring the effective and efficient implementation of the Document Management and Digitization Corps, including, but not limited to the planning and coordination of activities for the implementation of Core Skills training, Technical Skills Training, Placements and Certification of youth ages 18-24 years.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Manage complex projects
• Develop partnership arrangements
• Establish and maintain community, government and business partnerships
• Manage budgets and financial plans with work teams
• Use online systems to support managerial decision-making
• Manage innovations and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of TVET System
• Knowledge of HEART Organisation/NTA programmes
• Knowledge of HEART Trust/NTA policies and procedures
relating to recruitment, training, assessment, certification and procurement
• Knowledge of Project Planning and Monitoring methodology and techniques including Operational Planning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or Social Sciences 

OR

• NVQ Level 5 Public Service Administration (PSA 52607)
• Training in Project Management Skills
• Social Work or Youth Work training would be an asset
• At least two (2) years’ experience in project management and administration
