Job Description
|
Major Responsibilities:
- Performs administrative/clerical duties by responding to inquiries in person, by phone or e-mail.
- Responds to specific program details and/or directs individuals to appropriate staff
- Inputs, updates and maintains data in various software applications and prints reports.
- Performs straightforward typing/ data entry, such as forms, correspondence. Enters/updates information on computer.
- Assists with financial transactions and performs calculations
- Performs duties such as booking meeting rooms; opens/sorts and distributes mail; photocopies/faxes, sets-up/maintain filing systems.
- Operates office equipment and computers utilizing a variety of software packages, applying speed and skill
Key Qualifications:
Your application must describe your qualifications as they relate to:
- Experience performing administrative and clerical duties, with a working knowledge of standard office practices and procedures
- Experience with customer service dealing directly with the public, in person and/or by telephone or mail.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite specifically Word and Excel.
You must also have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, clients and the general public.
- Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) and establish good working relationships with clients/customers.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team.
- Ability to perform routine clerical tasks with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to perform calculations
