Maintenance Technician - Contract (Kingston, Jamaica)

A leading manufacturing/distribution company invites applications from motivated and dynamic individuals for the position of Maintenance Technician (Contract).

Minimum Requirements:

• First degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• One (1) year experience in similar capacity
• Training in preventative manitenance
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Knowledeg of ISO requirements
• Manual dexterity and problem solving skills
• Pleasant personality, sound communications skils and team player
• Results driven

Key Responsibilities:

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems
• Trouble shoot and repair PLC systems
• Perform general maintenance of plant and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment
• Assist in maintenance of ventilation and extractor system and conduct repairs
• Maintain plumbing systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs
• Perform manual repairs and conduct general upkeep procedures
