Invites applications from Men & Women to be trained as Correctional Officers

 

Basic Requirements

• Four (4) CSEC/GCE O' Level, SSC (ranges 4 & 5) including English Language
• Must be prepared to work Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays
• Must be prepared to work on shift

 Successful in the following areas:

• Entrance examinations
• Medical
• Interviews
• Polygraph testing
• Physical
• Blood testing & fingerprinting

*Job is transferable island wide

Other Requirements

• Should be between the ages 18-35 years
• Males -140lbs-160lbs; minimum height 5 feet 7 inches
• Mentally & physically fit
• Proof of immunization

 Compensation Package:

Stipend paid during training - $10,000.00 (fortnightly)

 

Upon completion of training

Basic salary - $741,940 per annum

Housing Allowance - $303,366 per annum 

 

Supporting Documents

Persons will be required to submit the following supporting documents:

 

• Original certificates of academic achievements (along with copies)
• Original birth certificate (along with a copy)
• Four (4) recent passport-size photographs (taken no later than six (6) months, and should be certified by a JP.
• Two written  character references/recommendations from  a J.P./Minister of Religion/School Principal /a Police Officer of Gazetted rank (Superintendent)
