Duties

- Keys information from returns and other source documents.
- Uses bar-code reader to electronically capture data from returns.
- Verifies, edits, and corrects captured data
- Plans and prioritizes own workload of assigned tax returns, information returns, schedules and other source documents for keying to ensure that work is completed within prescribed standards and deadlines.
- This job allows limited flexibility to change work activities throughout the day. The work requires prolonged sitting, bending and reaching when keyboarding and/or operating a bar code reader to enter data from returns, and when referring to printed manuals.
