This position is the government’s evidence custodian for the physical forensic evidence collected during investigations related to information security. 50% of the role will be providing administrative support to both the Investigations and Forensic Unit, Security Operations Unit and the Branch staff by providing a variety of secretarial, administrative, data management and analysis, financial and clerical services, and 50% of the role will be performing intake of security investigation requests, reviewing them and assigning them to the appropriate team member.  The position reports to the Office Manager, Information Security Branch.

Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Secondary school graduation OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of three (3) years clerical/administration support experience, education and training, supplemented by courses in office administration or other related courses.

  • Experience working in a confidential capacity including management of confidential records. Preference may be given to candidates with (2) two or more years of experience.

  • Experience monitoring and tracking financial and or program information. Preference may be given to candidates with (2) two or more years of experience.

  • Experience in maintaining filing systems (ARCS/ORCS, TRIM). Preference may be given to candidates with (2) two or more years of experience.
