Accounts Receivables Officer

Scope of the job:

The Accounts Receivables Officer will provide clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his/her control. 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Daily updating of customer's accounts
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payements and other irregularities
• Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
• Accurate transfer of relief items to expense account
• Perform daily collections
• Monitoring of Sales Representatives' accounts to ensure timely collections
• Prepare monthly journal entries and audit schedules
• Monthly reconciliation of receivables sub-ledger balance to general ledger

Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Knowledge of general accounting principles 
• Excellent communication skills 
• One to three (1 - 3) years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
