Janitor/Floor Mechanic
Required Skills
• Knowledge of handling, mixing and using cleaning chemicals in a safe manner.
• Experience in handling inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Ability to work in a team-fostered environment.
• Agile to perform physical tasks constantly.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Attentive to detail and reliable.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Confidential, organized and honest.
• Trainable and able to follow instructions.
• Flexible working hours (i.e. to be able to work on weekends and public holidays).
Qualifications:
• Secondary Education.
• Knowledgeable of occupational hazards safety rules.
• Must be aware of the basic rules of health and sanitation.
• Must possess good co-ordination and manual dexterity.
• To inspect and evaluate the quality of meats.
• Prepare product, maintain freshness, rotation, fullness of displays and quality with company policy and standards.
Qualifications:
• Secondary Education.
• A valid food handler’s permit.
• Candidates will receive on-the-job training.

• The ability to cut, trim, prepare standard cuts of meat, poultry and fish according to customers’ orders.
• Must be aware of the basic rules of health and sanitation.
• Must possess good co-ordination and manual dexterity.
• To inspect and evaluate the quality of meats.
• Prepare product, maintain freshness, rotation, fullness of displays and quality with company policy and standards.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and health standards within the department.
• Conform to company policies and health regulations.
• The ability to work on own initiative.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Possess good customer service skills.
• Knowledgeable of new products on the market.
• Trainable and able to follow instructions.
Qualifications:
• Secondary Education.
• A valid food handler’s permit.
• Knowledge of the various meat cuts would be an asset. However, selected individuals will receive on-the-job training.
Location: Kingston and St. Catherine.
Required Skills
• The ability to supervise and maintain the meat department in keeping with the standards of the Organization.
• Manage meat staff and ensure that the company’s objectives are met.
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of meats.
• Prepare products, maintain freshness and ensure proper rotation of products is in keeping with the Ministry of Health requirements and the operational standards of the Company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work on own initiative.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of five (5) CXC/G.C.E O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience operating a meat saw.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Supervisory role.
• Secondary Education.
• Valid Food Handlers’ Permit.
• Knowledge of the rules of Health and Sanitation in managing the meat department.
• Knowledge of various cuts of meat.
• Knowledge of the practices and procedures of meat inspection
Locations: Kingston & St. Andrew, St. Catherine, St. James, St. Ann, Manchester and Clarendon.
Qualifications:
• A Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing from a recognized Tertiary Institution.
• Computer literate.
• At least two years working experience in a Supervisory capacity with one year in a retail environment.
• Experience in distribution and promotions would be an asset.

• The ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.
• The ability to supervise a team of workers in achieving the objectives of the company.
• Strong personable leadership ability.
• Customer service oriented.
• A hands on approach to Management.
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Well-developed decision-making, administrative and analytical skills
• Flexible working hours (i.e. to be able to work late in the evenings and on weekends).
