Pharmacist (KINGSTON, JAMAICA) - Ministry of Health

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position:

Pharmacist

The Pharmacist will provide support services to facility staff to improve the treatment, care and support, and improve the continuum of care at the site level. The Pharmacist will have the responsibility of identifying unique issues at individual site and developing and implementing a plan of action to correct the problems identified. Regular reports will be provided to the Treatment, Care and Support unit to advise on the progress made in addressing issues and improving the continuum of care.

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution and registration with the Pharmacy Council of Jamaica
• Eight (8) years experience as a Pharmacist
• HIV/AIDS knowledge and experience managing HIV/AIDS patients
• Training in Supervisory Management
• Experience in Inventory Management
