Applications are invited for the position of Maintenance Technician - Electric Lifts.

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician - Electric Lifts is responsible for the upkeep of the Walkie Pallet Jacks, Reach-Fork and Deep Lifts trucks. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical lift trucks and pallet jacks in a timely and industry - approved manner, and in accordance with company policy
• Troubleshoot and repair faults affecting electrical circuits, inclusive of short-circuit, open-circuit, high resistance, defective modules, deteriorated power supply, etc.
• Accurately diagnose and repair hydraulic, brake, steering and mechanical systems to include disassembly/reassembly of machine components
• Monitor and maintain deep-discharge batteries, solenoids, conductors and electrical connections

Qualifications and Experience 

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in repair and maintenance of electrical and LPG forklifts, aerial lifts, lift trucks and other related material handling equipment.
• Experience maintaining Raymond brand of equipment would be an asset
• Certification in automotive maintenance, preferably motor vehicle repair level 3 from JAGAS or equivalent 
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Required Skills, Behaviours and Competencies:

• Excellent communication and documentation skills and the ability to work safely with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work any shift and any work schedule
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
