ACT (Advanced Call Center Technologies of Jamaica) located in Montego Bay currently seeks to fill the following positions:

Customer Service/Sales Agents

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identifies, researches and resolves customer issues; manages difficult or emotional customer situations
  • Responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance
  • Maintains confidentiality; keeps emotions under control
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situation; listens and gets clarification; responds quickly and effectively to customer questions
  • Multitasks well while speaking with the customer
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality
  • Meets productivity and sales standards; completes work in a timely manner, works quickly
  • Is consistently at work and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent
  • Follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments
Job Requirements:
  • Education: 3 CXC subjects including English Language/Call Centre Experience/Customer Service Certificate from HEART Trust/NTA

Additionally:
  •  Must be able to present a police record or receipt that police record is in process to the interview
  • Clear and concise verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport over the telephone
  • Data entry and basic computer skills
  • Flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Must be able to successfully pass criminal background check and drug screen
