 SALES REPRESENTATIVE

(Consumer Brands Portfolio - Western Region)

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for achieving the continued profitable growth in sales of Consumer Brands Limited distributed products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the implementation of the tactical programmes of the Sales Department.
• Ensure distribution and availability of products to the targeted customers.
• Ensure the effective implementation of all Marketing Programs (Promotions, Plano-grams, Pricing, etc.).
• Assess the performance of products in each customer’s store on a regular basis and recommend a Sales and/or Marketing Programme to facilitate throughput and optimize performance.
• Ensure proper management of receivables by operating at a point that minimizes risk while maximizing sales.
• Performance management of Merchandising service
• Build and maintain a win-win relationship with each customer.

 Academic/Professional Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing or related field  
• 2 years working experience in merchandising, sales or marketing
• PC Proficiency to include Microsoft Office Suite of Products

Special Requirements:

• Sound working knowledge of marketing and sales practices/principles
• Strong oral and written communication and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be a flexible team player
• Strong numeric and analytical skills
• Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills, with a good grasp of operational procedures, preferably in a FMCG market
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of accountability
• Own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
