Marine Cargo Surveyor

The successful applicant will:

• Attend at various locations to conduct surveys of cargoes or other goods.
• Prepare Survey Report.
• Calculate claims for processing.
• Interview clients reclaims and surveys.
• Dead Weight/Draft and Fuel Surveys.
• Assist the Operations Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

The successful candidate should possess:

• Diploma from Caribbean Maritime Institute.
• Five (5) subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English.
• Good organizing and time management skills (organized, focused and results oriented).
• Excellent interpersonal skills (strong relationship and communication skills).
• Ability to meet flexible deadlines.
• At least one (1) year experience in a similar capacity/shipping industry will be an asset.
• Knowledge of standard office procedures and practices.
• Competent using MS Office software applications.
• Operate a reliable motor vehicle.
