Doctors Hospital Nassau Bahamas is looking for a TRAINING OFFICER to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Facilities and coordinates various clinical programs, courses, and in-services

• Ensures that the curriculum for various training programs which meet the required objectives

• Liaises with facilitators when coordinating and scheduling workshops

• Observes and conducts education in clinical areas as appropriate

• Prepares monthly and annual reports

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Ability to design and instruct clinical training programs (such as BLS and the PCT course)

• Ability to pay keen attention to details

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Strong clinical skills

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and registration with the Nursing Council of the Bahamas

• Two plus years experience

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider and instructor

• Training certification preferred
