Duties

• Count change fund, set up cash drawers, and verify the accuracy of each drawer.
• Turn on the master cash control processor and set up the office terminal(s) for the day's business.
• Issue change to cashiers. Operate cash register, as needed.
• Periodically check cash register drawers to prevent extensive fund accumulation.
• Bag and seal cash and checks, make up change list for secure pick up and deposit.
• Verify cashier records against total change of funds and sales records.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must possess one year of general experience OR two years of post-high school education OR a qualifying combination of experience and education by the closing date of this announcement.
General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of Teller.
