The selectee for this position will serve as a Procurement Technician in the Contracts Competency of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

• You will provide administrative support for the Contracts Competency, in the area of purchasing contracts and administrative systems.
• You will assist managers and supervisors who perform studies concerning feasibility, suitability, adaptability, and operational utility of systems and systems concepts.
• You will review correspondence for supervisor's signature.
• You will review and processes routine and official personnel actions and administrative regulations.
• You will maintain organizational charts, position descriptions, personnel files and records etc.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector doing the following: 1) Reviewing processed transactions to ensure data is current and accurate; 2) Maintaining logs and records in accordance with policies and procedures; 3) Inputting basic data into automated systems to process transactions.
OR
I have completed education above the high school. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school. (You must submit transcripts)

Requirements:
