A successful retail organization invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the vacancy of Accounts Payable Officer.  The selected individual will be required, but not limited to:    

• Monitor customers' accounts. Investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Ensuring that suppliers are paid in accordance with agreements
• Assist the Finance Manager with organizing and planning departmental activities

Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills

• Must display business acumen, analytical skills and be well organized
• Associate degree in Accounting or Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
• A minimum of three (3) years experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Working knowledge of Peachtree accounting software
