About the Agency

This position is located at Fort Hood School Age Services.

Duties

1. Oversees the administrative management of the reception area.
2. Receives children, youth, parents, and other visitors in a courteous manner.
3. Answers main telephone, ascertain nature of call and direct caller to appropriate staff takes a message or personally provides desired information.
4. Utilizes Child and Youth Management System (CYMS) to oversee the collection, accurate accounting and reporting of funds.
5. Utilizes an electronic cash register system and calculator to compute and record individual transactions for customers.

Qualifications

1. Progressively responsible administrative duties.
2. Skill in operating a manual or electric typewriter and current automation system and software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Power Point, Excel) required. Must be able to type 40 wpm.
3. Possess the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
