20 JOB POSITIONS AT Roads Authority , JULY 2017

The Roads Authority (RA) invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position tenable at its head office in Lilongwe.

Chief Engineer – Road Infrastructure Design (G1)
Job Purpose
The Chief Engineer will be reporting to the Director of Planning and Design and will be responsible for all road infrastructure studies and design functions. The officer will head the Design Section in the Planning and Design Department and the position is tenable at the Head Office in Lilongwe.

Chief Engineer Maintenance (G1)
Job Purpose
The Chief Engineer – Maintenance will report to the Director of Maintenance and will be responsible for the management of all activities at the region. The position is tenable at the Regional Office – South in Blantyre.

Chief Engineer – Construction (G1)
Job purpose

The Chief Engineer Construction will report to the Director of Construction and will be responsible for the management of all periodic maintenance, rehabilitation, upgrading and construction projects funded by the Government of Malawi. The position is tenable at the Head Office in Lilongwe.

Senior Engineer Maintenance (G2)
Job Purpose
The Senior Engineer Maintenance will report to the Director of Maintenance and will be responsible for various technical activities of maintenance operations from Regional Offices. The position is tenable at the Head Office in Lilongwe.

Transport Economist

The Transport Economist will be reporting to the Chief Road Infrastructure Planning Officer and will be responsible for all road transport economics functions. The Position will be tenable at the Head Office in Lilongwe
