The Fort Campbell Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Civilian Personnel Advisory Center's mission is to recruit, develop and sustain a professional civilian workforce through effective, efficient, and responsive Human Resource products and advisory services. We are a fast paced office with constant change, servicing over 1100 NAF Civilian Personnel within the Army's Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation program.  Fort Campbell is located on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY and Clarksville, TN. Fort Campbell is the home of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) the only Air Assault Division in the world. The area provides inexpensive country living with the benefits of a major metropolitan area less than an hour away – the home of Country Music and the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville, TN.

Duties


Duties to include, but are not limited to:
1.Performs a wide variety of technical support in a generalist capacity needed to administer the NAF Personnel Program, but is focused in the areas of recruitment and placement all while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. 
2. Provide recruitment and placement support services to NAF HR Specialist: conduct recruitment/examining activities for equivalent and lower-grade positions.
3. Reviews personnel request to determine the nature of staffing action; perform routine classification duties and position build, writes recurring and new vacancy announcements and prepare modifications as needed; rate resumes, update event codes.
4. Perform miscellaneous clerical work such as using office automation to type a variety of documents; compiles information from reports, maintains files; etc.
5. Conducts strategic recruitment discussions with management officials to advise on recruitment strategies.
6. Respond to applicant and management inquiries on procedures such application procedures, statuses and criteria used in qualification decisions.

  • Occasional Travel
  • Will be required to travel for training purposes.
